Hey Newmaners! Happy Wednesday! Some would argue it's the best day of the week.

Here's a quick announcement to let you know that Penny Wars have been extended for one more day! Bring all your change to the meeting tonight and support your year in this battle to be Newman's best year! Seniors you have the biggests deficit to overcome so either bring those pennies in or some silver change to bring everyone else down. Freshman you have no pennies whatsoever...so get in the game! (Sophomores don't laugh you only have 5...). And not to leave us out, juniors, I'd like to win so let's all join in some friendly competition and bring your change in tonight!

Remember the more we raise the better gifts our two adopted children will get for Christmas from us :)

Prayers for all today,

Megan

Subject: [Newman-l] Week 15

Hello Newmaners!

This week we will be having our Newman meeting at the PC at 7:15 PM on Wednesday. Let's finish this semester strong! Come and experience a great time! Here are more announcements:

-Tuesday, for those who are going to GKTW, there is a meeting at the PC at 8:00 PM. GKTW goers MUST attend this meeting!

-Wednesday, there will be a group getting together to say the Rosary. Feel free to join! It will be held at the PC at 4:45 PM before Mass.

-Wednesday, there is a Mass at Christ the King Parish Center Chapel at 5:15 PM. There will be FREE food afterwards. We are having lasagna!!!!

-Thursday, there will be a Holiday Fun Fest committee meeting at the PC at 6:00 PM.

-Saturday, Holiday Fun Fest will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If you are available, please come at 3:00 PM to help set up! If you have any questions or if you would like to help out, contact Amanda (610-220-4475). It will be a blast!

-Sunday, there is a Christmas Concert at 4:00 PM at St. Paul Church. Come and listen and/or join in singing as we celebrate the coming of Baby Jesus! there will be a reception following after the concert. If you need a study break, this is the perfect time to do it!

-FUN FACT!!!! Did you know that the patron saint of the United States is the Blessed Virgin Mary!?! This Saturday is the Immaculate Conception (A Holy Day of Obligation). Saturday-evening Mass does not meet our obligation of our nation's patronal feast day. So...here are the Masses that are offered at our parish this week to help fulfill this requirement:

Friday, December 7th-Vigil 6:00 PM at CTK
Saturday, December 8th-9:00 AM and 11:00 AM at St. Paul

Have a great rest of the week everyone!! See you all on Wednesday!
