This is a call for nominations for "Notable Alumni" from our department. This is a program run by our college, and it started a couple of years ago.  If you have some names of people whom you think should be considered, please forward them to me by the end of next week (April 12th) so we can look them over.

In 2017, we launched the Notable Alumni Award recognition program https://www.ohio.edu/cas/alumni/awards/notables/index.cfm.

We honored alumni from every department. Most attended the fall dinner and program. All past Distinguished and Outstanding Alumni now serve as founding members. Our reimagined program celebrates alumni success in careers, communities and service to the college and encourages engagement among those who desire more meaningful involvement with students and faculty.

We very much want to honor alumni from each department again this year. On behalf of your department, please nominate one or two individuals for consideration by the end of the school year.

We have streamlined the nomination form and invite you to fill in what you know.

We will also be inviting alumni to nominate others or self-nominate in the spring issue of ENGAGE Alumni News, set to go out in two weeks.

At this point, we are hoping to have the Notable Alumni dinner and program on Friday, October 25.
