Hello Everyone,
Just a recap of what we went over at our meeting earlier today:
We will be co-hosting a film screening with the Multicultural Greek Council for Arab-American History Month tomorrow (Wednesday April 4th) at 6:00 in the Baker Theater.
Thursday, April 5th, we will be teaching Salsa lessons to the Oak Hill High School Spanish Club from 5-6. For those who can, we will be meeting at the bottom of baker at 4:30 to lead the group to Grover Gym.
Friday (April 6th) is the Latin American Cultural Night that we are co-sponsoring with Tropical Disease Institute and OLA. You will be able to enjoy Latin music, Salsa lessons and traditional food. The event begins at 6:30 in Baker Center Room 240
I encourage all to support Latino Student Union by attending if you are free and to also wear your LSU t-shirts!
Also, we had two speakers come in to talk give an Obama for America presentation. If anyone is interested in volunteering or internship opportunities for the Summer and/or Fall, please feel free to contact Sasha at 740-541-2768 or sm383608 at ohio.edu
I hope to see you all tomorrow!
