Hello,


My name is Bianca and I am a representative for this year's Scripps
Innovation Challenge. I am reaching out in hope that you will pass along
this information to students and on social media.


The Scripps Innovation Challenge is a competition open to all majors.
Students are able to attend our weekly workshops to create a tool or
solution to a real-world problem, and by the end of the semester, present
their ideas to judges. Winners of the competition will win prize money and
the chance to present their ideas to executives at AT&T.


This year, the Challenge will focus on finding a solution to college
readiness in the Appalachian area. This means that finding a way to allow
the the "Lost Einsteins," or those individuals who can make a real
difference in the world if they were to attend college. We would really
appreciate if you would pass along the information to students using your
social media accounts and email. We have already tweeted information out
from our own account (@SIC_OHIOU) if you prefer to retweet us. More
