We have a wonderful opportunity for up and coming instructional designers/developers in our Professional Development department at Central Piedmont Community College (Charlotte, NC) to gain experience and build a portfolio and/or resume.  As an integral part of the Professional Development instructional design/developer team for the Spring 2016 semester, interns will have an assigned role set forth by the program director that will include the modification, evaluation, design, and development of PD's online training curriculum which can be delivered via online or a blended learning opportunity. Interns will be expected to complete a project that demands a high level of creativity and imagination that will encompass their skills and knowledge of sound instructional design/developer practices.  Experience with designing/developing online curriculum is required (via coursework or other internship opportunities).  This is a 4-5 month commitment and it is expected that you dedicate between 15-20 hours (on average) per week on your project.
