Instructional Designer (Mason, OH)

Responsibilities:


·         Clarify and align talent/learning needs

·         Research and evaluate current curricula and content to identify
needed areas of adjustment and alignment to business strategy and meet the
needs of all levels of the organization.

·         Utilize current knowledge of the most recent advances in adult
learning, instructional design and e-learning to provide critical input to
the department.

·         Be able to facilitate sessions both small and large group at
field and store level

·         Manage Learning Management System (LMS) catalogue updates on a
bi-annual basis

·         Partner with their customers to ensure they understand the client
and goals

·         Facilitate review and approvals with initiative owners, cross
functional partners, brand leadership and HR

·         Manage operational budget for projects

·         Develop training materials ensuring all materials and programs
are learner focused, interactive, effective and user-friendly

·         Identify and help prioritize development of brand-specific
learning needs/initiatives that may fall outside the scope of the client

·         Provides quality assurance of course delivery

·         Support definition of an annual Learning Plan for their customers

·         Own an annual Learning Scorecard for their customers

Requirements:


·         Consensus building in a complex multi-stakeholder environment

·         Ability to conduct learning needs analysis through a proven,
consistent methodology

·         Ability to influence design and implementation of training
programs that address the brand’s business strategies and learning needs

·         Hotel/retail shopping vendors where training schools will be
located

·         Occasional external consultants to fill niche training / event
needs
