*LATIN AMERICAN FILM SERIES: LIVE-IN MAID, SEPTEMBER 14 5:30-7:05pm*

You are invited to the Latin American Film Series, sponsored by OLA
(Organización Latino Americana).  Films will be presented each Friday
evening at 5:30 pm. in Scripps Auditorium. This week LAS will be showing
the Argentinean film, *Live-in maid*.****

*“LUNCH & LEARN” WITH BRAD JOKISCH SEPTEMBER 18 12:00-1:00pm, Yamada 009*

You are invited to the new LAS bi-weekly "Lunch and Learn" series, at which
faculty will be invited to speak about their research area and the joys
involved in undertaking this process. This week’s faculty member is Brad
Jokisch from the geography department. A light lunch will be provided.****

*Award-winning Cambodian film to be screened, September 17 7:00-9:00pm*

*Lost Loves*, an award winning film by Chhay Bora, will be shown on Monday,
September 17, 2012 at 7pm in Glidden Hall Room 400 (Music Recital Hall).
Mr. Chhay Bora will be present at the screening and will facilitate a
question and answer session following the film. Please check out the

The Borgen Project is a national campaign that is working to make poverty a
focus of U.S foreign policy. They are currently looking for a volunteer to
serve as the Regional Director. As a Regional Director, you will operate
independently from home and maintain contact with The Borgen Project’s
Seattle office. This position is roughly 4-6 hours a week and a minimum of
