Hello Colleagues,

I am contacting you because I am looking for recommendations of students
that you know that might be interested in earning extra money over the next
7 weeks of the semester. More specifically, I am looking for graders for a
course that I am co-instructing for the College of Business. I would need
student graders that are familiar with Excel and knowledgeable of
Probability and Statistics. Please send the contact info of your
recommendations or please have your recommendations contact me via email (
youngw1 at ohio.edu) as soon as possible. Feel free to forward them this email
message. Though I would prefer graduate students, we will also consider
undergraduate students. For more information about responsibility and
compensation, please read the brief description below.

In brief, I expect the workload to require 15-20 hours a week. Compensation
would be $1,500 for 7 weeks of service. Expectations would include
previewing homework submissions, grading final homework submissions, and
exam submissions. Homework and Exam keys and solution videos already exist,
so grading should be more or less straightforward. All of the homework
submitted by our students will be submitted as an Excel in Blackboard. The
first 3 weeks feature Excel related assignments (i.e. formulas, formatting,
charting, etc.) and the next 4 weeks will feature probability (i.e.
general/special rule of multiplication/addition, binomial, hypergeometric
distributions, etc.) and statistics (1 and 2 way hypothesis testing, ANOVA,
regression, etc.) assignments. In total, I will need 3 graders, where each
will be assigned to 20 specific students.

If your contact would like to know more, please have them contact me
directly (youngw1 at ohio.edu). We need graders this week so I appreciate your
time and effort. Based on the number of potential recommendations, I might
set up an informal meeting with the students who are interested.

Thanks so much!

Bill
