This is email is to remind everyone that beginning Winter 2010 (per the
Graduate Council) the Graduate College will no longer be accepting the
"old" oral defense forms. (The new forms include IRB information and
instructions for processing the form correctly with the Registrar's
office.) The new forms can be found at
http://www.ohio.edu/graduate/etd/oral_defense_forms.cfm. The students can
also link to this page from the www.ohio.edu/tad site.

Thanks to all of your efforts. Thesis and Dissertation (TAD) Services is
only occasionally seeing the old forms now. Beginning Winter 2010, if a
student provides one of the old oral defense forms, they will need to go to
www.ohio.edu/tad, complete the correct form, obtain committee signatures
again, and return the correct form with signatures before graduating.

Thank you for your assistance in encouraging the students to use the new
forms. Please add this items to your meeting agendas and/or distribute this
email to your graduate faculty members.

Thank you,

Angie
