[Itech] Pink Slips and other matters

Hello Graduates,

I will be off campus after Dec 16th and then at a conference from Jan 1 to
Jan 8. I will return to OU Athens Campus on Jan 9, 2009.  Please see me on
Monday, Dec. 15th between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon if you are going to need a
pink slip for doctoral hours or other courses.  If you cannot meet then, you
may email me with your *PID*, the *course you wish to register for* and the
*Course call number* so that I can fill out the pink slip and submit it
before I leave town.  Otherwise, you will have to wait until Jan 9, 2009 to
see me.

OU is in a very tight budget crunch (like most of us!).  This means that
courses will be cancelled if they do not have minimum student enrollment.
Therefore, if you need a course, enroll as soon as possible as the course
may be cancelled because it seems that there is not enough enrollment when
in reality it is because people were planning to enroll later.

Some of you have asked me to send in pink slips for the EDCT 551 - Southern
Cohort.  I have done this but some have been returned due to financial holds
on your accounts.  Please check to see if you are in enrolled and if not
that is probably the reason.  You will need to contact the Bursar's Office
to find out what is going on. You will be unable to enroll until the
financial hold issue is resolved.
