I was also blessed to be an Assistant Dean with OUCOM in Toledo and a DME at St. Vincent's and helped write the application for the Osteopathic General Surgery Program there under Dr. Connie Cashen.  I hold dual certification.  I also have an MHA from the School of Health Management, Kirksville, MO.  I was a Health Policy Fellow under Dr. Ross Lee and consider her a wonderful mentor - which is what I have considered myself as a dually certified DO PHYSICIAN.

I have never regretted my decision that I made in 1990 - I know that the AOA and AACOM will not either.
