Description: City of Piqua, OH located in the west central portion of the state in the northern Miami Valley region (Dayton MSA), is accepting applications for the position of GIS Project Manager whose duties are performed independently under the general direction of the Information Technology Director.

The GIS Project Manager position is a newly established position and the ideal candidate will will be expected to coordinate the City's various GIS and mapping platforms throughout the City departments.  Various GIS applications and databases have been developed in multiple departments including the Zoning/Development, Engineering, Power and Underground Utilities Departments.  This position will be responsible for the coordination and integration of the various GIS applications and databases to ensure data is kept up to date and to allow the City to take full advantage of the information and data collected in the various systems.

Requirements: This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in GIS, Environmental or Computer Science, Engineering, Planning or a closely related field plus 4 (four) of years relevant experience using database analysis, including 2 (two) years of experience with GIS design and application; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Position Type / Hours: Permanent, Full Time

Salary Range:   $68,036 - $86,840 ; salary is DOQE.
