Subject: Position open in MN DNR - Watershed Specialist working on stream geomorphology

I am sending this job announcement for a position in the MN DNR in hopes you will share with anyone you think might have an interest, either people completing their schooling or currently employed in natural resources or consulting fields. The position is primarily a fluvial geomorphology position but involves working with a number of agencies on different aspects of watershed assessment as well. The main focus of the work is on assessment of streams impaired for excess sediment or with a biological impairment. There are also opportunities to get involved in channel restoration work and development of Regional and erosion curves. There are training opportunities, but someone who has some experience with fluvial geomorph survey methods would be preferred. Below is the basic job information and attached is more detailed listing. Please forward to anyone you think might have an interest, and to group or agency lists as well. We would like a broad distribution. Below is the brief description, and a more complete one with information on how to apply attached.
