Hey everyone,

 

We have an very important scholarship opportunity right here at OU.  Please
respond to rmshelor at gmail.com by Monday, April 23rd at 8am (do not respond
to this email, forward it to provided email address).   Note that there are
several scholarships that require Gamma Iota Sigma membership.

 

Also, these are not Finance Major specific.  All Gamma Iota Sigma members
are eligible also.

 

These are very good scholarships with several going to members every year,
so please apply if you qualify.

 

Good luck on your midterms and to people taking Actuarial Exams soon.

The Finance department has eight scholarships that will be awarded this
spring.

If you would like to apply for any or all of these, please respond to this
EMAIL with a brief summary of your interest and qualification.
Please also attach a current resume. 

The deadline is Monday, April 23rd at 8:00 am.

1.        Member of Gamma Iota Sigma and must have taken an insurance course

2.        Must be U.S. citizen, member of Gamma Iota Sigma or have taken
insurance course

3.       Finance major with financial need

4.       Finance major who is a member of social fraternity or sorority

5.       Finance major with financial need possibly from greater Pittsburgh

6.       Finance or actuarial major, strong in math, strong extra-curricular
activities

7.       Junior finance major

8.       Senior with outstanding leadership in COB
