[Faces] Sanders Update

Dear ALPHA's, FACES and STARS,


I wish to inform you that I will be leaving my position as assistant director for Diversity and Inclusion at Ohio University (OHIO) effective April 22nd. I will be starting a new position at Old Dominion University (ODU) (Norfolk, VA) as the associate director of Diversity Initiatives/Assistant Professor.



While at OHIO I have had an opportunity to work with student organizations who are innovative and resourceful and who continue to forge OHIO's vision and mission to create an inclusive environment for all students. Through your robust programmatic efforts related to community service, scholarship and education (i.e., FACES Fashion Show during Sibs Weekend, Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Brunch, Miss Bronze, STARS Halloween Poster Campaign, etc...) OHIO has experienced great strides as a campus community. I have enjoyed collaborating, advising and learning from you!



With many of you I share a unique camaraderie which I hope will continue in the years to come. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed working at OHIO, my position at ODU will present new challenges and further my professional growth and career trajectory.
