Hello, everyone. Marty and I have been in contact with Kelam Schulz and Travis Post about beginning our weekly or bi-weekly volunteer work at the Ohio University Emeriti Park. Kelam will direct us through what needs to be done each time. This could include: weeding, trimming, cutting back flowers, amongst other wonderful gardening needs.

We are proposing biweekly work at the park beginning Wednesday Nov. 19 from 10am-2pm until winter break. The dates are: November 19th, December 3rd, and December 17th (weather permitting).

If you are interested, please let me know (by responding to this e-mail) as soon as possible which dates and times you can come and join us. We can provide gloves and tools for up to 8 people at a time. If you can’t stay for the entire 4 hours, that is fine, just let me know what times suit your schedule. Marty and I will be there on Nov. 19!
