Reservation reminder:  This month's Emeriti luncheon is scheduled for next week Thursday, November 17 at 11:30 AM at the Athens Country Club.  The cost is $23 per person. Please have exact change or a check made payable to the OU Emeriti Association.  The deadline for reservations is Tuesday the 15th at noon at which time the reservation count will be called in.  If you haven't already done so, email Tom Franz at <franz at ohio.edu<mailto:franz at ohio.edu>> with your luncheon reservation.

The luncheon will be served buffet style and the menu will be:
  • Sage Roasted Turkey Breast
  • Green Beans Almondine
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Dessert
Beverages: iced tea, water, coffee

Our speaker for the meeting will be Dr. Carl Denbow presenting information on a series of area historical markers erected commemorating Civil War persons of note, the most recent of which was the “Chauncey Boys” Project honoring three Civil War Patriots, with a marker in Dover Twp. Park, Chauncey.
