We do not usually send out notices about things for sale on this 
listserv, but Andy Anderson's special role in our community deserves 
this announcement.

*Most of us in the Emeriti Association remember Ora “Andy” Anderson, age 
93, —artist, poet, conservationist, and wordsmith extraordinaire— as an 
occasional luncheon presenter. He did not write his autobiography in 
words. He imprinted the story of his life on his piece of land, using 
trees as his medium*.

*A new DVD, Ora E. Anderson: The Soul of the Woods, has been produced by 
Jean Andrews. **Dr. Charles Ping introduces the DVD by sharing his own 
story about his friends Ora and Harriet Anderson and their efforts to 
create the Dairy Barn Arts Center. Extra DVD features include a bird 
carving demonstration by Anderson in his workshop and reading of 
Anderson’s prose and poetry by Dr. Charles Ping.*
