[Eecs_phd] WPAFB Summer Internships Available

(In addition to the internship program listed below, there are multiple other internships available in the Southwestern Ohio region by visiting the www.SOCHEIntern.org<http://www.SOCHEIntern.org> website)

Applications are now being accepted for the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) 2016 Summer Internship Program.   This summer will mark the sixth consecutive year that students will get hands-on experience working with researchers in world-class labs, solving real-world problems at WPAFB.

Students apply through the common application on the www.SOCHEIntern.org<http://www.SOCHEIntern.org> website.  They need to check the "WPAFB Summer Internship Program" box when filling out the application.  An "Apply Now" button is clearly labeled on the program page.

Process and program requirements:

  *   Students must be high school graduates with some college experience.
  *   Students must be US citizens.
  *   Any college major can apply, but usually only STEM students are chosen.
  *   Applications accepted through May 1, 2016.  For first consideration, apply by February 8, 2016
  *   There is no minimum GPA.
  *   Students will work full time for the summer (40 hours per week).
