<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Applications are now being accepted for the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) 2016 Summer Internship Program. This summer will mark the sixth consecutive year that students will get hands-on
experience working with researchers in world-class labs, solving real-world problems at WPAFB.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Students apply through the common application on the
</span><a href="http://www.SOCHEIntern.org">www.SOCHEIntern.org</a><span style="color:#1F497D"> website. They need to check the “WPAFB Summer Internship Program” box when filling out the application. An “Apply Now” button is clearly labeled on the program

<li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#1F497D;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Students must be high school graduates with some college experience.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#1F497D;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Students must be US citizens.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#1F497D;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Any college major can apply, but usually only STEM students are chosen.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#1F497D;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Applications accepted through May 1, 2016. For first consideration, apply by February 8, 2016<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#1F497D;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">There is no minimum GPA.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#1F497D;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Students will work full time for the summer (40 hours per week).<o:p></o:p></li></ul>
