The Ohio University IEEE Student Chapter is hosting a Microsoft Teams Presentation by Dr. Lia Merminga, Director of the Proton Improvement Plan II (PIP-II) project at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab).  The PIP-II project represents a major upgrade to the world-class Fermilab accelerator complex, and features an 800 MeV superconducting linear accelerator that can accelerate protons to more than 80 percent of the speed of light.

You are invited to attend this online presentation on Thursday, 13 May 2021 - 7:30pm ET (via Microsoft Teams).

Please join us to hear about this project and some of the exciting things being done at Fermilab, one of the premiere research facilities on the planet.  All are welcome - you do not have to be an IEEE member to attend. Thank you.
