<b>Dr. Lia Merminga</b>, Director of the Proton Improvement Plan II (<b>PIP-II</b>) project at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (<b>Fermilab</b>). The PIP-II project represents a major upgrade to the world-class Fermilab accelerator complex, and features
an 800 MeV superconducting linear accelerator that can accelerate protons to more than 80 percent of the speed of light.
