Description

The company is currently seeking qualified pipeline Project Engineers to support Project Managers and Superintendents in the construction of mainline gas pipelines from 16 to 48 in diameter. The role is a field role working out of the site office within a multidisciplinary team. Must have main line pipeline experience. Responsibilities: SPOC for all technical and compliance related Change Orders. Develop and enforce Change Order processes and procedures. Develop Change Order forms and templates. Review all drawings and engineering documents for SOW Change Orders. Review all compliance documents for SOW Change Orders. Either price, or coordinate with Estimator, for Change Order pricing. Initiate Change Order requests to Contract Administrator. Coordinate with Contract Administrator for Change Order processing. Coordinate with Field Engineers to ensure approved SOW changes are implemented. Coordinate with Field Engineers to ensure non-approved SOW changes are not implemented. Requirements: 7-15 + years field experience in the construction of mainline gas pipelines. Engineering Degree, Construction Management Degree or Technical Diploma and requisite field experience. Working knowledge of pipeline construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to discipline. Solid understanding of regulatory requirements including HSE.
