Brothers,

I wanted to forward this email to all of you because I believe this is an important opportunity for yourselves and our chapter. I don't know if anyone has ever thought about applying to student senate but I suggest giving it some thought. One of the few CEP goals for Presidents is to have a member on student senate. I know it would make our chapter look great and move us another step in the right direction. Please take it into consideration and if you are applying let us all know!

Greetings Fellow Bobcats!

Now that Student Senate elections are officially over, the newly elected executives would like to invite all students who are interested in being a part of Student Senate for the upcoming year to apply for appointed positions on Student Senate.

Student Senate is responsible for representing student issues and concerns within the wider university. Any Athens campus student who will be enrolled at Ohio University next year, with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, is eligible to apply for a position.

The application can be accessed at http://www.ohio.edu/students/ . They are also available outside the Student Senate office (Baker University Center 305). Along with the completed application, please provide a letter of intent and a resume. All applications are due in the Student Senate office on or before 5:00PM on Tuesday, May 29th.

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact myself or one of the other executives via email as found on the application or stop by the Student Senate office.
