Gentleman,

This is a reminder about the Frat Wars Paintball tournament that IFC is putting on as a campus-wide brotherhood sent to me by Mac VanDoros, VP of Chapter Relations for IFC.  Please forward these on to your chapters so that we can have a great turnout for this event.

What is Frat Wars?
Frat Wars is a fraternity wide paintball tournament that IFC and OU Paintball will be hosting next Friday, June 4th, at 2:00pm. Fraternities can assemble as many teams as they desire, with 5-7 people per team. The price is $20 per person, and it will include a gun, unlimited air, as many paintballs as the tournament will need (or at least 500 paintballs per person), as well as food and refreshments. In addition, music, cornhole, and other activities will be provided as teams wait to advance to the next bracket.

The location of this event will be at OU Paintball's home field. The field is located in Coolville, Ohio, a short 20 minute drive from campus. Directions will be provided later to those teams that signup. OUPC's home field has three arenas which include two speedball arenas, and an arena in the woods with various bunkers and trees for strategic attacks. When the tournament begins, we will use all three of the arenas. However, as teams are eliminated we begin to use only the two speedball fields. The reason for this is so as teams that are eliminated, they have the option to continue playing pickup games in the woods. If a person uses up all 500 of their paintballs, and wants to buy more, they can do so at a very cheap price.

This is going to be a rowdy event, and $20 is a very cheap price, so please make sure you signup so we can have a very fun and competitive tournament. The deadline for signups will be next Wednesday, June 2, by 7:00pm. Until then, drop by the Greek Life office on the 3rd floor of Baker to signup. I will continue to send out emails over the next few days to remind you of this event. Start forming teams now, you don't want to regret not signing up in time!
