Subject: Thursday's Meeting - Greek Life Webisode #2

Gents,

On Thursday at 5pm in the Greek Life Office in Baker, we will be filming the 2nd Greek Life Webisode. This weeks topic will be philanthropy.

IFC and I chose this topic because we feel that Spring quarter is the time of year that the Greek Community gives back the most to charities, and the surrounding Athens Community. Also, we feel that Greeks as a community needs to raise awareness of all the good we actually provide to others. We all know that our perception right now from Athens, and OU faculty is less than stellar. However, we can be the difference.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:

I need every chapter to send 1 or 2 representatives (exec members, philanthropy chairs, community service chairs) for a on-camera interview discussing their main philanthropy event, and what it entails. You can expect questions like:
----
What is your philanthropy event?
What goes on at the event?
How much money have you raised?
What is the charity your raise money for?
Why is this charity meaningful to your fraternity?
Why does your fraternity participate in this event?
What other philanthropic events does your chapter participate in? Look forward too?
Why do Greek Community efforts in philanthropy and community service go unnoticed?
Does the Athens community benefit from Greek Life efforts?
----

Please email me back if you are interested in the interview. Come out for a quick interview to once again give back to your community.

fraternally,
Joseph Klocke
