Happy week 9 everyone! Here are your minutes from this weeks meeting:


Events:

Wednesday 3/12: We will be having date auction committee at 8pm and the location is still to be determined. 

Thursday 3/13: Date Auction is going to be at 8pm in the Bobcat Student Lounge in Baker. Set up is at 4:30 but you can come anytime after that if that works better for you. If you haven't filled out the questionnaire to be auctioned off, please fill it out at http://bit.ly/dateauctionquestions You don't have to fill out every question! All the proceeds do to our relay team so invite everyone you know!!  
Friday 3/14: We are watching Ides of March as the next movie in our movie series! The time is still to be announced but it will be at 2 Elliot Street. Bring drinks and snacks if you have extra swipes! 

March 21-22: Relay for Life will be at 5pm-11am at Ping! Remember to bring blankets, pillows, snacks, and games! 

March 22: The CDO spring conference will be in Akron starting at 11 am. Rides leave at 7am. They are also doing elections so contact Caitlin Roberts if you are interested in running or want to attend. 
March 28th: The Mid-Ohio Valley Democratoic dinner will be in Marietta at 5pm and tickets cost $25 as the student rate. Contact Caitlin Roberts know if you are interested in attending so then we can arrange transportation.     




Updates:

Relay for life is coming up on March 21. So please sign up for our team if you haven't at https://secure.acsevents.org/site/TRR?pg=tfind&fr_id=56530&skip_login_page=true&s_fr_part_type_team=join

How to join the team:  1) find the team "College Democrats" (make sure it says Relay for Life of Ohio University on the left) 2) Click pay my registration by cash or check 3) Continue to fill out all the information that follows until the end. You should not have to pay any money during this! If you have any questions, please contact me! 


Roundtable:
Wednesday 3/12: Flavor of the week is in the Front Room from 12pm(noon)-2pm. This weeks  flavor is a mint chocolate! 

Wednesday 3/12: Fuck Rape Culture will be having their meeting in the Women's center at 6pm.  

Wednesday 3/12:  VOX (voices of planned parenthood) will be having their meeting at 8pm in the Women's Center in Baker. 

Friday 3//14: ODP Legacy dinner is going to be in Columbus and there is a happy hour after that is $20 for beer/wine for those of age to drink. If you are interested, contact Alyssa Alcorn (440-213-6605). 

Saturday 3/15: In honor of Purim, Jewish Halloween, there is a celebration at 2 Elliot street at appox. 10pm. 

March 30: A fraternity is hosting a dodge ball tournament and it is $10 a person but you get a T-shirt and BBQ after. If you are interested in being on a team, contact Caitlin Roberts.
