[OU Dems] Minutes Week 14

Happy week 14 everyone! Here are your minutes from this weeks meeting:


Events:

Friday 4/18: Scott Wharton,who is running for Congress, is hosting a meet n greet in Baker 235 at 2:30pm and there will be pizza and drinks provided!

Wednesday 4/23: There is a health care press conference in Baker 231 at 11:00am.

Wednesday 4/23: Summer Dinner will be at 6:00pm at Pigskin. There is food provided (boneless wings, pulled pork, fruit, and mac n cheese) and Lou Gentile is our keynote speaker. Try to get there early to set up (530ish), let Ian know for sure if you are coming by Tuesday, and dress is business casual. 


Updates:

Check the bottom of the minutes for the superlative ballot. Please print it off, fill it out, and turn it in as soon as possible!

Roundtable:

Early vote has started!!! Since we WON'T be here on election day, it is important that we vote before we leave! Go to the Board of Elections (15 S. Court across from Big Mamas) to vote!!! 



Wednesday 4/16: Flavor of the week is in the Front Room from 12pm(noon)-2pm. This weeks  flavor is a lime! 

Wednesday 4/16: Fuck Rape Culture is having their meeting at 6pm in the women's center. They are planning for next weeks body positivity week and if you want to get involved next year, you should go to the meeting and have lots of fun! The events for body positivity week are: Monday 4/21: panel at 5pm in Bobcat Student Lounge in Baker about body positivity told from different perspectives. Wednesday 4/23: Jeans day Friday 4/25: Eating pizza in bathing suits in college green.

Thursday 4/17: Voting for Student Senate will take place so make sure you vote!

April 24-26: ACRN is hosting Lobster Fest (A free music festival)! The list of locations and performers can be found at http://web4acrn.wix.com/acrn#!acrn-calendar/cu27 

If you are looking for a place to live in Columbus for the summer, Alyssa's sister is subleasing her place so contact her if you are interested! 

If you are interested in helping students move in during move in time and a chance to get $300 for our organization, up to $100 for each member in bobcat cash, and get to move in early (if you are living in the dorms), be a part of go green move-in team. There is an informational meeting Tuesday April 23rd at 7pm in the Baker Theater.  Let Ian know if you are interested. This is something that would be really good for our organization!
