Hey Dems! Hope your week eight is excellent! Here are the minutes from this
week's meeting.

News/Updates:

Thank you to everyone who participated in Relay for Life! We raised $1565
so thank you all for your hard work!

If you know of any seniors that would like to be sent off at our Senior
Send-off then please let Debi know!

Our D.C. trip is next weekend! If you plan on going and have not yet paid
Marika, please do that ASAP! The trip will cost $65. We will be figuring
out rides at our meeting next week.

Sweatshirts are here! They are $15! Buy one while you still can because
they are going quickly!

Congratulations to our Dem of the Week this week, Jeana Davis!!!

Events:

Senior Send-off will be Thursday, May 31st! Come and help us show our
seniors how much we love them!

There will be a fundraiser for our D.C. trip on Sunday at 1 PM. We will be
doing trash for cash to help supplement the gas money. If you are planning
on going to D.C. you MUST attend at least one fundraiser!

Our annual Summer Dinner will be on Monday at 5 PM at Bill Bias' house! We
will be giving rides at the top of Baker at 4 PM. Special guest will be
Ohio Supreme Court Justice Yvette McGee Brown!!

This weekend we will be knocking on doors for a Weekend of Action for the
Obama campaign! Shifts are: Saturday 10-1 and 2-5. Sunday 2-5. Please meet
at the office, 8 N Court St Rm 313 (the building with Fluff and Pita Pit!)

Round Table

Kaitlyn Crist needs a subleaser for her apartment on Montrose for the
summer. Rent is $333 a month! Contact her at kc800208 at ohio.edu if you are
interested!

Shannon has coupons for the Athens Pyramids! If you would like one please
contact her!
