[CPN] Continuing the pre-ratification review

Dear CPN members,

I am sorry about the confusion caused by my initial message not having gone out in mid-November when I thought it did.  By now, though, you should have received a copy of the full code (minus the preface and index) for review prior to ratification.  I sent it to you on Dec. 15.  If you did not receive it, please let me know.

I also sent you a proposed revision of Art. 11.9 on Dec. 14.  Michel received it, so I assume the rest of you did too, but Michel is the only one who has commented.  I asked for comments by this Friday.

I know many of you are likely to be traveling at this time of year, so I think we need to postpone a vote to ratify the code as a whole until at least mid-January.   What about a target date of January 17, a month from today, to start the vote?  Does that give everyone enough time to review the code?  If that is going to be difficult for you, please let me know.

I have confirmed that the problem was that the attachment was too large, but I think I can override the maximum-size restriction as the listserv administrator.  I’m going to try that now.  If you reply to the listserv, you should delete the attachment from your reply or your message will not go through.

Once one person has responded, it is unnecessary for everyone else to.
