OPCSMH September 2026 Webinar Suicide Prevention: Building a Campus-Community Ready to Respond

In recognition of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, join the OPCSMH on Tuesday, September 29th at 12pm EST for a virtual panel discussion exploring how mental health and suicide prevention trainings can help create campus-communities that are prepared to recognize concerns, respond to students and colleagues, and connect individuals to support. While trainings such as Mental Health First Aid and QPR can provide participants with important knowledge and skills, their impact can extend well beyond the training itself.

Expert panelists will share their experiences developing and implementing training initiatives, including what makes these efforts effective, how they can be sustained, and how training can translate into meaningful action. Participants will leave with greater insight into how training can contribute to a culture of preparedness, connection, and suicide prevention across campus-communities.
