Subject: Invitation to Participate in a Research Study on Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies
We have been asked to share the following research opportunity with our members:
Sharon Gbadamosi, a doctoral student in the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions at Rutgers University School of Health Professions, is conducting a dissertation study to establish expert consensus on the Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies (MSJCC) that counseling students should develop before entering clinical practice, as well as best practices for assessing these competencies within counselor education programs. Eligible participants include licensed counseling practitioners and counselor educators with direct experience in MSJCC – including active independent counseling licensure or CACREP-accredited teaching experience, along with MSJCC-focused scholarship, leadership, or supervision experience.
Participation involves:
* A brief screening survey to confirm eligibility (about 10 minutes)
* Three rounds of online surveys via Qualtrics (approximately 45 minutes each), conducted over roughly 8–12 weeks
If you are interested and believe you meet the eligibility criteria, please complete the screening survey here:

Eligible respondents will be contacted within two weeks of submission with further details. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential.

Thank you for considering this invitation.

Please let me know if you need any additional information, or if you'd like me to adjust the wording, format, or eligibility summary to better align with your communication style. I'm happy to accommodate whatever works best for your team.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration, and for your continued support of research that advances the counseling profession.
Sincerely,
