Our work often includes Ohio-based legislative advocacy, educational events, professional networking, and community development.

The Emerging Leaders program emphasizes skill development for counseling students & professionals. SAIGE of Ohio Emerging Leaders can gain leadership experience by participating in Executive Board meetings, committees, projects, mentorship, and networking. These experiences can help support future goals and growth into elected leadership roles!
Three positions are available for the 2026–2027 term:

  *   One Master’s Level Student
  *   One Doctoral Level Student and
  *   One New Professional.
Applicants must be OCA and SAIGEO members at application time. Eligibility is based on student or graduation status as of January 1; new professionals must have graduated in 2025.
