Dear Dr. Bhat,

My name is Ariel Landry, and I am a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Holy Cross. I am conducting a qualitative dissertation study titled Professional Counselors' Experiences with Inpatient Group Therapy Facilitation for Youth, which has been approved by the University of Holy Cross Human Subjects Protection Review Committee (HSPRC).

I am writing to respectfully request your assistance in sharing this study with students, alumni, or colleagues who may be eligible to participate.

The purpose of this research is to explore the lived experiences of professional counselors who provide short-term inpatient group therapy for children and adolescents.

Participant Qualifications:

To participate, you must:

  *   Be a licensed or provisionally licensed professional counselor (e.g., LPC, PLPC, LPC-A) in the United States.

  *   Have graduated from a CACREP-accredited counseling program

  *   Have experience providing short-term inpatient group therapy for children and/or adolescents (psychiatric hospitalization typically lasting a few days to a few weeks, depending on client need; not including residential, intensive outpatient, or outpatient settings)
Participation Details:

  *   Confidential, 45-60 minute Zoom interview

  *   Share your experiences with facilitating child/adolescent inpatient group therapy

  *   Opportunity to review the interview transcript for accuracy
