Eastern Michigan University’s Department of Leadership and Counseling (LDCN) in the College of Education invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in College Counseling. This position is part of a university-wide interdisciplinary cluster hire focused on the mental health and well-being of college students. This position will work in collaboration with faculty from, but not limited to, Social Work, Student Affairs, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Psychology, and Occupational Therapy, as well as practitioners in the field, to form the College Student Mental Healthand Well-being Research Collaborative. The collaborative will develop a research agenda to inform practice and institutional policy related to mental health and well-being. This position comes with course release and special funding for participation in the Research Collaborative.

Please share this information with recent Ph.D. graduates or students who will have completed their degree by August 2026. A job description is attached.
