My name is Melissa Henry, and I am the program director for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program at the University of Louisville. According to the CACREP website, you are the director of the Counselor Education program at the Ohio University. I am emailing you in hopes of you sharing our recent job post with any of your recent or soon-to-be Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral graduates.

After the retirement of one of our colleagues, we are excited to announce that we are currently recruiting a Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisville. Both positions are in-person, non-tenure track positions, and applicants must have their PhD before August 2025 (the start date). Responsibilities include teaching 8 undergraduate/graduate-level courses per year (typically 4 per semester) and serving as our Clinical Coordinator for the CMHC program (for one position). We are accepting applications until March 11, 2025.

Our CMHC and School Counseling programs are CACREP accredited through March 31, 2031. We also have established faculty peer mentors in the field, Dr. Hongryun Woo and Dr. Ahmad Washington. Dr. Washington is currently serving as our interim department chair and has university support to recruit high quality candidates interested in learning and growing with us.
