Dear Dr. Foreman:
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Dr. Ronee Rice, and I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Tiffin University. I am reaching out to ask for your assistance in sharing a research opportunity with your students. This study is being conducted by a group of students and faculty, including myself and Dr. Regan Murray, and has been approved by Tiffin University’s Institutional Review Board (#02102501)
The purpose of this study is to explore the prevalence of sexual harassment experienced by students in psychology, social work, and counseling programs with a primary focus on experiences during internship and field experience. Our goal is to gain a better understanding of how common these experiences are among students in these fields.
We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with eligible students who may be interested in participating.
Eligibility:
Students who are currently enrolled in a psychology, social work, or counseling program are invited to participate.
Study Details:
·                     Participants will complete an online survey consisting of a demographic questionnaire and questions related to sexual harassment experiences.
·                     The survey will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
·                     No identifying information will be collected, and participants may discontinue at any time without penalty or loss of benefits.
·                     Participation is entirely voluntary and not required. Choosing not to participate will have no impact on academic standing, evaluations, or professional opportunities. Furthermore, program directors, supervisors, and professors will not be aware of students’ participation or the content of their responses.
