Hunter College, City University of New York is hiring for TWO faculty positions starting Fall 2024: School Counseling Doctoral Lecturer and Mental Health Counseling Doctoral Lecturer.

Duties include: 1) teaching 4 graduate courses each semester in our counselor education programs, 2) student advisement, 3) serving on program, department, school, college and university committees, where appropriate, and 4) participating in professional organizations

Our masters-level program is situated in the heart of NYC and we provide training for future school, mental health, and rehabilitation counselors to work in the diverse and multicultural rich milieu of New York City.



We are looking for applicants with a Ph.D./Ed.D. (or ABD) in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program by August 2024 (ABD will be considered but a doctorate degree must be conferred prior to the start date); or employment as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013.
