Sixteen 15 minute poster sessions will be presented virtually on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, at 1:00-2:00 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) and 3:30-4:30 PM EDT. Online proposals will be accepted until Friday, April 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM EDT.

Each poster session should address one of three themes identified by the CSI Executive Council:

1) Counseling Across the Globe
2) Professional Counselor Identity, Leadership, and Advocacy
3) Wellness Counseling Practices and Research

Proposals will be evaluated by CSI's Poster Session Review Panel. Decisions will be sent to primary presenters by May, 2024.

Primary presenters must be student members of CSI. Chapter Faculty Advisors, other students, other faculty, and alumni/professional members may serve as co-presenters. Proposals will be reviewed by a panel of CSI members and rated for relevance, clarity, and suitability for CSI Days attendees.

Decisions will be emailed to the primary presenter in May.

Due to limited slots, an individual can only be included on two proposals this year (one as the primary presenter and one as a co-presenter).

The following guidelines will apply to all virtual presenters:

A) All presenters must be current members of CSI in good standing. The primary presenter must be a student member.
B) The primary presenter is the contact person and is responsible for notifying all co-presenters of acceptance, rejection, scheduling, and any other information provided by CSI. The primary presenter's email address is the primary form of communication.
C) Presenters may not submit presentations that are in nature promoting a product or service, or sell any products or services during the session.
D) Applicants must be able to present virtually (narrating over the PowerPoint without webcams) during any 15 minute slot on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, in the afternoon (between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM, Eastern Daylight Time). We will not be able to accommodate requests for specific timeslots.
E) The slides for an accepted presentation must be submitted as a PowerPoint file (.pptx) to Dr. Stephen Kennedy (stephen.kennedy at csi-net.org<mailto:stephen.kennedy at csi-net.org>) by Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM EDT. You do not need to include a title slide because the title and presenter details will be included on a slide with the CSI logo as your session is introduced. Login details will be sent to presenters prior to CSI Days.
F) Presenters give permission for their sessions to be recorded and for PDF copies of their PowerPoints to be shared with CSI Days attendees.
G) Presentation materials must be original to the presenter or used by permission of the copyright holder. This includes, but is not limited to, movie, television, commercial, social media video clips, photographs, and music.
H) Presenters must attest to the fact that the information provided (including literature reviews and statements about data collected by proposal presenters) is true and accurate.
I) Recording of sessions is prohibited without written consent from CSI.
