Columbus State Community College is Central Ohio's front door to higher education and a leader in advancing our region's prosperity. The Department of Student Wellbeing is currently searching for a Director of Student Counseling & Wellbeing. This is a key position that provides direct leadership to College Counseling Services, strategic leadership to Recreation and Wellness, and guidance and collaborative support to Student Advocacy.

We are looking for candidates with the ability to: be proactive, plan and evaluate; anticipate and react effectively to student needs; determine appropriate support services; engage students, faculty, staff and other college professionals collegially in challenging conversations about student wellbeing; make critical decisions about student welfare and college safety and security.

Candidates should have a Master's Degree in Public Health, Health/Exercise Promotion, Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work or a closely related field. Three (3) years of leadership experience; Experience working in higher education, community health, or private practice - an appropriate combination of education, training, coursework, and experience may qualify a candidate.
