Subject: Food Bank Service Opportunity

Hey everyone,

The Recreation Majors Association student org is planning a trip to the SE Ohio Food Bank next Wednesday 12/6 from 9a.m. to 1p.m. It is open to all faculty and students in the Patton College and I'm hopeful that we can get a nice blend of individuals to join us. We will leave from Patton Hall and return back here.

Boxed lunches are being provided by students in RHT and I will need a solid head count for Van Reservations and food on Monday. Our hope is to make this a monthly opportunity in February, March and April.

Each box of food that we pack on Wednesday will feed an area senior in need for a day. (College of Business did 1,500.... just saying)

We max out at around 45 people in terms of what the Food Bank can accommodate and while this isn't the ideal time to do it in our last week of the semester, it's the only time that the Food Bank had.
