There’s one more week to apply for the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio’s Growing Home Fellowship<https://appalachianohio.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=4eb5ffafea03cab8b073fb000&id=5b759e508e&e=e97aab4a3a>, a new program designed to support and grow the next generation of community leaders for the region. Each fellow will receive a $32,000 financial stipend, leadership development, and peer support while living, working, and volunteering in Appalachian Ohio<https://appalachianohio.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=4eb5ffafea03cab8b073fb000&id=dd4772ef2c&e=e97aab4a3a> for five years.
In this pilot year, the program will support 120 emerging K-12 leaders, ages 18-35, as Growing Home Fellows: 60 retention fellows and 60 recruitment fellows. Almost all retention fellowships have been awarded. However, we need your help to identify possible recruitment fellows.

Recruitment fellows include individuals who:

  *   Are moving to Appalachian Ohio for a job serving K-12 students
  *   Moved to Appalachian Ohio for a job serving K-12 students for the 2022-2023 school year
  *   Are applying for a job serving K-12 students in Appalachian Ohio
  *   Graduated in spring 2022 and are in their first year of teaching or working with K-12 students
  *   Will graduate from college no later than summer 2023, intend to secure work with K-12 students upon graduation, and will be able to provide proof of employment and residency in the region by July 1, 2023
