Dear Chairs & Directors Council,

I'm writing to ask that you remind your students that they must meet OHIO's Vaccination Requirement<https://www.ohio.edu/coronavirus/vaccine/vaccine-requirement> in order to attend spring semester classes. Please remind them that they must declare their Vaccination Pathway by submitting proof of vaccination or an approved exemption by November 15.

Importantly, meeting that deadline will require that students plan ahead to allow time for both doses of a two-dose vaccine, and to allow time to submit their vaccination record or approved exemption. That means they need to start the vaccination process as early as mid-October to meet the Nov. 15 deadline. Information that will help students plan accordingly is available here<https://www.ohio.edu/coronavirus/vaccine/vaccine-requirement>.

Those students who submit approved exemptions from the vaccination requirement will be required to test weekly and wear a mask indoors regardless of other masking requirements.
