To the Office of Graduate Admissions,

I am contacting you again to provide information about the BrightView Health 2021 Clinical Education Advancement Scholarship. We think this is a great opportunity for graduate students at your institution.

BrightView Health provides drug and alcohol addiction treatment to men and women across the states of Ohio and Kentucky. To this end, we are offering a scholarship to a graduate student who plans to work in the field of substance abuse treatment upon graduation.

We would appreciate any help spreading the word about this scholarship to your students and educators. Additionally, if you maintain any lists of external scholarships, we would love to be posted there. as well. Some information about the scholarship is included below, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or require any more information.

This scholarship will grant one recipient a one-time reward of $1,000 toward their education. Each applicant must write an original 500 to 1,000-word essay responding to the following prompt: "What role does clinical care play in an effective addiction treatment program?"

Qualifications for the scholarship are as follows:

As of January 1, 2021, the applicant must:

  *   Be 18 years of age or older
  *   Attending or enrolled in an accredited master’s program for social work or counseling (MSW, MA, M Ed., etc.) in Ohio or Kentucky
  *   Pursuing a career in substance use disorder treatment
