We are excited to introduce ourselves as Family Counseling & Rehabilitation Center of Ohio, a budding resource for high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse counseling. FCRCofOhio provides local, affordable, comprehensive outpatient care individually designed for the client. Our areas of specialization include:

•         Mental Health Counseling

•         Substance Abuse Disorders

•         Family Counseling/Therapy

•         Couples Counseling

•         Child/Adolescent Counseling

•         Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP-Q)

•         Group Therapy

At Family Counseling & Rehabilitation Center of Ohio we promote the well-being of individuals and families in Ohio communities utilizing best practices and focusing on a service system that emphasizes trust, respect, confidentiality, and compassion. In this underserved, diverse area, we anticipate community behavioral health needs and continuously work to adapt to meet those needs.



We use modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, Gottman, and solution focused therapy among other proven counseling methods.


As part of our commitment to the development of the next generation of Behavioral Health Care providers we are actively looking for individuals currently enrolled in Ohio University’s Master’s Program(s), with an emphasis in psychology, counseling, social work, and other behavioral health specialties. Specifically, in the form of internships/practicums and graduation employment opportunities.


Jennifer Simmons, the Owner and President of Family Counseling & Rehabilitation Center of Ohio, has her master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy and undergraduate in sociology. She is currently working a PhD in Psychology. She has a certification in SMART recovery for drug and alcohol treatment as well as an SAP-Q. She is a member of the American Counseling Association as well as the American Psychological Association. In the State of Ohio, she holds her LPCC certification as well as LICDC licensure.


Within the year, our plans for expansion include, through OMHAS, in-home services, expanded drug and alcohol treatment services and a Driving Intervention Program.
