Dear Dr. Erby,
My name is Madeleine Stevens, and I am a doctoral candidate in Ohio University’s Counselor Education and Supervision program. I am conducting a quantitative dissertation study regarding research engagement among master’s-level counselor education students in the North Central region of the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (NCACES) (IRB #21-E-6). Specifically, I am seeking to understand a relationship among research motivation, research competence, and advisory working alliance in this population. I am writing to ask your assistance in recruiting participants for my study. Will you please forward this research request to your master’s students? More information regarding the study is below.

Participation in this study is voluntary. Only those who are 18 years or older may participate in this study. Further, only those who are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking master’s-level CACREP-accredited counselor education program within the NCACES region may participate.
