My name is Ryan Reese and I am an assistant professor at Oregon State University in the Counseling Academic Unit. I am writing you today on behalf of myself and my co-investigator, Dr. Brett Gleason, to ask a favor as the listed university liaison on the CACREP website. We are exploring the experiences of and attitudes toward EcoWellness of counseling faculty, doctoral level students, and masters students in CACREP accredited counselor education programs. You may recall receiving this same request in spring 2020. Because of Covid-19 we were unable to collect a sufficient sample size. Once again, we are hoping that you could forward on the below message to your faculty and student body. We are really in need of counselor educators to participate. Dear counseling faculty, doctoral students, and masters students:

My name is Ryan Reese and I am an assistant professor at Oregon State University Cascades in the Counseling Academic Unit. I am writing you today on behalf of myself and my co-investigator, Dr. Brett Gleason, to invite you to be part of a study in which we are exploring the experiences of and attitudes toward EcoWellness in counselor education.

The study is being conducted in two parts, the second of which is optional. First, we invite you to complete a survey in which we ask you to share about your personal experiences of EcoWellness and attitudes toward EcoWellness in counselor education (the link is available below). You may elect to share your email address at the end of the survey to be entered into a drawing for one of ten ($10) Starbucks gift cards.

You will also be invited to share your email address if you are interested in being interviewed about these same topics on EcoWellness in a follow-up interview. Your email address will only be seen by the primary researchers. Once participants have been selected and contacted for the drawing and/or for participation in the individual interviews, any identifying information will be destroyed from the data. The survey will take you about 15 minutes to complete.

Participants who will be interviewed by the researchers will occur via online video conferencing. The interview is expected to take 30-45 minutes total. The primary researcher will transcribe the interviews and all identifying information from the interviews will be de-identified before data analysis takes place.

We are offering $5 Starbucks gift cards to participants selected for the interview portion of this study. If you are interested in being considered for an interview, please make sure you include your email address on the survey.

You are eligible to participate in the study if you meet the following criteria:

•         You are a full-time faculty member, currently enrolled as a doctoral student, or currently enrolled as a masters student in a CACREP accredited counselor education program.

•         If a student, you have completed at least one full semester in your current masters or doctoral program.
