Guidance Counselor
Delphos St. John's Catholic School is seeking a passionate/qualified Guidance Counselor for the 2019-2020 school year and beyond.  Interested candidates must be proficient in both academic and emotional counseling, including college and career readiness to help students after graduation.  Applicants should be willing to play an active role in the education of our youth as well as create a school environment that is supportive and structured. RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide Guidance Services, including academic, emotional, and career readiness counseling
    Be Flexible to Schedule Adjustments
    Be Willing to Coach/Advise Student Athletics or Organizations if Interested
    Participate in Outside School Activities and Events as Needed
    Able to Relate and Develop Rapport with Students
    Work Closely and Collaborate with the Delphos St. John's Staff
    Maintain High Quality Academics, Expectations, and Confidentiality
    Commitment to the Students, School, Community, and the Blue Jay Family

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    Master Degree in School Counseling Preferred
    Ohio Teaching License or Non-Tax License Required
    FBI/BCI Background Check
    Complete Ohio Department of Education and Diocese of Toledo Requirements
    Experience as a Counselor and/or in the Classroom Preferred

SALARY

Per Negotiated Contract with the potential of Supplemental Stipend
