**POSTER PROPOSAL DEADLINE EXTENDED**

The Student Outreach Committee for the National Association of Multicultural Rehabilitation Concerns (NAMRC) is writing to you in hopes that you will once again forward this personal invitation to any rehabilitation students and faculty you may know, encouraging them to participate in this year's conference being held in Dallas, Texas, July 26 (pre-conference) and July 27-29 (conference) at the Marriott Conference Center and, submit a proposal for poster presentations for the conference.
THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED IN HOPES OF GATHERING ADDITIONAL STUDENT POSTER PRESENTATIONS.  As you may know, having a poster presentation is very important for rehabilitation students because it shows that students are keeping up to date with the latest discoveries in the field.  It is also very helpful in building their resumes / curricular vitae.  It is an excellent way to get their feet wet in the conference/presentation world.  Overall, we are eager to present student posters depicting issues that are trending within the rehabilitation community, as they pertain to students.  At the conference, students are also able to network with scholars and professionals in the field for future collaborations and mentorship. 


 We hope you will encourage your students to consider NAMRC and participate!  The theme for this year’s 24th Annual Training Conference is: “Contemporary Pioneers:  Practicing Excellence in Cultural Inclusion”
