My name is Rieko Miyakuni. I am a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision Program at Governors State University. I am conducting a study to understand counselor educators’ social attitudes toward Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) individuals and their awareness about systemic social issues. This study has been approved by the Governors State University IRB Board (IRB #16-11-08).
